ADU

You may find yourself questioning the term, but it’s simple when broken down. ADU stands for “additional dwelling unit”, these can be attached or detached from your home proper. Common terms like “mother-in-law apartment” and “granny flat” reference projects like this. Often including all that a smaller home would offer, like kitchen space and bathroom areas to provide a space someone can live in.

ADU can range from over-garage spaces, inside the lower or upper areas of the home, and fully separated. Offering space detached from your own living space for people to live their day-to-day.

Additions/Extensions

Conversions:

Conversion projects are the process of shifting an existing space from it’s original intent, to something that would be a better fit for you. A garage you may want to make a hosting area, or making a closet into a laundry room with a sink. Fully processing it over to it’s new intentions with electrical, plumbing and insulation to fit the new use case of the area.

This can provide a use for intermediary areas that don’t see much traction in your life and turn it into something useful.
